19/12/2008, played at Bradenham Village Hall.
Bradenham beat Swanton Morley D 10-0.
Swanton's Adrian Cox was desperately unlucky not to beat Rob Land in three straight sets. Two sets up, then 10-6 down in the third, Adrian pulled back to deuce, but the ever tenacious Land held on in there, finally winning 17-15. Land called on all his experience and stamina to eventually scramble over the finish line, taking the next two sets 11-8, 11-8.
16/01/2009, played at Fakenham Conservative Club.
Conservatives beat Swanton Morley G 9-1.
A good sporting match with games closer than the overall scoreline would suggest. Tony Brown sneaked a point for Swanton with an 11-9 fifth set win over Pat Johnson, but Dave Worship couldn't quite manage a second, denied in the fifth by John Ashley 13-11.

05/01/2009, played at Swanton Morley Village Hall.
Swanton Morley H lost to Bintree B 0-10.
A far from embarrassing scoreline, this match was keenly fought and played in and with great spirit, although at the end of the evening the Bintree trio proved just too good for the home side.
08/01/2009, played at Ringland Reading Room.
66 Club B lost to 66 Club A 0-10.
Local derby match played in the wintry and rarified atmosphere of the Norfolk outback. Try as they might, 66 Club B couldn't raise the temperature against a stronger A Team.
Its been pointed out to me by a keen eyed Bintree Club member that the fixtures listed earlier and shown as 1st Round are in fact 2nd Round fixtures, as there is no first round as such because of the number of teams in the competition. Please therefore read the fixtures below as 2nd Round matches due to be played in Week 21 commencing 23 February.
If though you can and wish to play the match in Week 16, you can of course do so. Or you should use week 16 to rearrange a postponed match.
Sorry for the confusion - and thanks Bruce!

| Bye: Swanton Morley E, Billingford |
09/01/2009, played at Bradenham Village Hall.
Bradenham drew with Swanton Morley A 5-5.
A hard fought match with honours shared, solid performances from Bradenham's Keith Hunt and super vet, Dave '' I've been around for ever'' Attridge with two singles each and a poor show from Nigel Houseago with only a single win over injured Rick Edwards. Swanton's Paul Durrant had a much deserved maximum and teamed up with Paul Pegg to take the doubles, against Hurricane Hunt and Ambling Atto, a very different game to that of the first half meeting with Bradenham winning that 8-2, but then Houseago did not play in that game, and some would say it was a shame he played in this...!!!!
07/01/2009, played at Foxley Village Hall.
The Mission beat Beetley 7-3.
The meeting between the League's top two sides turned into the match of the season so far, with 47 out of the maximum possible 50 sets being played. No after match pub trips here, in what turned into a very very late night. Mission star man was Robin Thaxter, promoted to No. 1 as Paul Barrett was out injured, and Howard Lupton turned out with flu in an attempt to infect the opposition. Thaxter's maximum, all needing five sets, was topped off with an 11-8 win over Hilary Howlett, and Lupton took two of his three 5-setters. The previously unbeaten Steve Barrett still seemed to be suffering from his Christmas hangover, and managed just the one win.
Swanton Morley E lost to Conservatives 4-6.
Division 2 leaders Conservatives extended their lead at the top, but they were pushed mighty close by Swanton E with 7 out of the 10 games going to the fifth set. Swanton's Tony Wright took a fine maximum with all games needing the deciding set, and Conservatives sealed the win in a fifth set doubles which went to the wire, finally ending in their favour 12-10.
05/01/2009, played at Swanton Morley Village Hall.
Swanton Morley I lost to Swanton Morley F 3-7.
Swanton Morley F ended the evening with a convincing win, with the I team's Robert Richardson taking their three points with an excellent maximum, which included fifth set wins over Derek Sidgwick and David Powell.
